A couple weeks ago, Yezmene and I decided to get together and do something witchy in the spirit of Halloween. I absolutely love how these all came out. She just keeps getting better and better. That burgundy skirt with the UNIF Penny Crop have become my favorite combination for the season. 

Now, I guess it's time to welcome in November.

Triple Threat

About a month ago now, I was reunited with my friend Mariaya, who moved back to Washington about a year ago. It was so good to see her again! While she was here, she took these photos of me and the rest of the triple threat... Her, Megan, and myself. I miss you Mariaya.

So life has gotten super busy. I went back to college. Yes, during summer. I'm taking two summer classes, so with those, homework, studying, and my job at the zoo on the weekends, I've been a pretty busy lady. I must say though, it feels good to be going back to school, especially now that I know what I want to do; Marine biology.

First off, check my face in the second to last photo. Straight terror and annoyance directed at the dick who was straight hanging out of his truck door at the stoplight to stare at us. Okay. Mind yourself, please.

Anyway, summer is definitely upon us in California. Today it hit 102 degrees. Ridiculous. I am not ready for this. Also got my hair trimmed up today. The back of it was getting out of hand, so my friend Ashley cleaned it up for me, and it's looking much better now. 

Tomorrow my sister is graduating from college, so I've got that to look forward to tomorrow!

I have been after some Bad Vibes shorts for probably about a year now (or whenever it is they first released them). I finally bought myself a pair, and I am in love (I may or may not have bought two more pairs after receiving these ones and discovering just how perfect they are)! Madeline and Brit, you girls are geniuses for these. 

The weather here in California has been so bipolar... Last week it rained, this week it's in the 90's, and next week it's supposed to drop back down to the 70's. Make up ya mind!

I don't really have a whole lot to say today to be honest. It's my day off so I've really just been relaxing and enjoying the weather while listening to a couple of my favorite bands at the moment. I'd suggest you check out both Nest and Nothing.

California has actually been getting some rain again!! I never complain about that. These photos were taken yesterday, the day after a big rainstorm, hence the gorgeous clouds. Perfect weather, if you ask me. Also, my favorite EVER coat (cardigan? Whatever you wanna call it), by Evil Twin. It is so warm, and fuzzy, and cozy. It's just the best.

Also, I just started a new job... At the Fresno Chaffee Zoo!! I'm an educator/guide there, so I get to work with both the animals and people. It's awesome getting to educate guests on all the different animals. It's also really nice to have a job that I don't dread going to. I'm pretty happy with it.
