The only thing running through my mind while uploading these was, "WHY DID I CUT MY HAIR?!?!!?" Yeah... I chopped off all my hair just a couple days ago. Mostly because my undercut was getting annoying, and because I had all these weird layers from how thick I kept my bangs last year. Sigh. It needed to be done, I think.
But anyway, hi, these are my current favorite shoes. They're comfy and easy to walk in but still give me the extra height. Also, this shirt is by one of my buddy's bands, called The Chain Gang Of 1974, which I'm very fond of, and would recommend checking out.

I shot these with one of my good friends Demi a couple weeks ago. We pulled inspiration from a few different sources to create these images. For those of you who know me, you know that music has always been a huge part of my life. So we pulled inspiration from that and ran with it. I love how these came out. In case you guys are wondering, here's the bands of the records pictures: Whirr, The Chain Gang of 1974, Mansions, and Joseph Arthur. All records that I love. Whirr's "Sway" is the newest to the collection, and it's a great one. The Chain Gang of 1974's "Wayward Fire" isn't a new release, but it's still one of my favorites. The Mansions record is actually a test press of their album "Dig Up The Dead" that I won a few years ago. Then Joseph Arthur, a record I picked up while in Portland, because why not buy records while in Portland, am I right?
Life has been busy, but good lately. Keeping busy with school, work, and the boy. I have been missing my best friend pretty bad though. Come back from Arizona already, Megan!

The Chain Gang of 1974
I spent a few days in LA last week, and I must say, it was probably the best trip down there ever. I got to spend a lot of time with one of my closest friends, Lacey. I went down Wednesday, during which we hung out at Venice beach and went out to dinner with another friend. Thursday, I spent part of the day with my girl Courtney, whom I ended up shooting with in Echo Park. Stay tuned for those photos soon. Went at ate at Two Boots Pizza, browsed Origami Vinyl, explored a bookstore, and talked about boys (how typical). It was a really fun afternoon. Afterward, I headed down to the Slidebar in Fullerton to see The Chain Gang of 1974 for the first time in nearly six years. Kam has come a long way since I last saw him play, and I must say, I was impressed. They just released their new album, Daydream Forever, about a month ago now, so if you haven't already, give it a listen and pick it up. Btw, thanks, Kam, for the records!
Friday I ran errands with Lacey the majority of the day, and helped her pack up her apartment for her move to Glendale. It actually rained a good majority of the day, which was sort of a pain in the ass running errands, but I always enjoy the rain nonetheless. Friday night we decided to head to The Echo to see Chain Gang play (again, for me). I thought they'd be something Lacey was into, and I sure am glad I was right.
I'm afraid I may have fallen in love with Los Angeles, and if any of you really know me, know how incredibly weird that is coming for me. I guess this trip gave me a new perspective on the city. I met so many rad people this time around, and it was nothing but good vibes the whole time. So, thanks to everyone I spent time with this time around. Until next time.
