Spring Fling

Cutout dress; Forever 21
Denim jacket; thrifted at Goodwill
Wired stone bracelet; Target
Pyramid stud ring; The Laundry Room
Vintage turquoise rings; gifts
Shoes; Dolce Vita via Urban Outfitters

I ALWAYS take advantage of the weekends and wear as much color as possible since Paul Mitchell limits us to black only. This weekend is no exception. Found this dress at Forever 21.. I love leopard print, and the minty green color was perfect for spring. I also love the cutout on the back. I'd also been looking for a nice denim jacket, and found this one at Goodwill for only $2! My mom has become pretty impressed with my thrifting skills as of late.
Anyway, I hope you're all having a great weekend with this wonderful weather!

Adios Comfort Zone

Acid Wash tank top; Fox House
Leatherette pants; H&M
Red snake skin leather jacket; Thrifted
Shoes; Dolce Vita
Cross ring; Ooh La La
Pyramid ring; The Laundry Room
Spike ring; c/o Fox House

So, this outfit it totally out of my comfort zone. I NEVER wear orange, and hardly ever red. But when I saw the acid wash design on this tank from Fox House, I just couldn't resist. The pattern is beautiful and it is one of the comfiest tanks that I own! I also got the amazing spike ring from Fox House (I highly suggest you check them out.. They have some GORGEOUS pieces). I paired all this with the black faux leather pants from H&M, and black Dolce Vitas so as to not get too crazy with the colors (especially since these colors are already way out of my own comfort zone). Great find with this lovely red leather jacket though.. Was roaming through Goodwill, and found it for only $5!

Grunge & DIY

Studded leather jacket; Chic Boutique in Santa Cruz
DIY shorts; dyed and studded by moi
Tights; Urban Outfitters (shredded by moi)
Tank top; Forever 21
Boots; Kohl's
Rings; vintage, gifts
Wired stone bracelet; Target
Abalone earrings; gifted

Anything DIY has been my new thing lately. These shorts were inspired by the ever so lovely Madeline Pendleton. Splattered bleach all over them, then dyed them a fuchsia color. Then out of nowhere I decided to stud the hell out of them. I also shredded these tights to my liking.
As you know from my previous post, I spent the weekend with a bunch of amazing people in Santa Cruz. While roaming around shops, one, called Chic Boutique, had a rack of sale items posted up outside. As we walked by, I saw the studded leather jacket.. 50% off. Such a steal, and it's definitely my new favorite! I'd also had my eye on this stone bracelet I found at Target, just hadn't had the money to purchase it. Yesterday I went in to find that collection on jewelry had gone on clearance, and to my amazement, there was one left. I swooped it up real quick, and I'm so glad I did!

Mix Tape Parties & Paul Mitchell

Vintage Gloria Vanderbilt shorts; The Laundry Room
Leggings; Azkara
Pink Floyd fringe top; Forever 21
Belt; Target
Rings; Vintage turquoise, Ooh La La, Princess Diana ring
Chain necklace; Ooh La La

Can I just start off by saying my classmates and learning leader did an amazing job on my hair! Went for a more feminine version of the faux hawk. Went to Fresno's annual Mix Tape Party IV Friday night, and nobody recognized me at first with this over the top up do. Someone even told me I look like Rooney Mara (win!). It was super cold and rainy Friday, and I've already forgotten how to dress myself for cold weather.. So I went with my warmer weather outfit and just added leggings and a jacket, hah. Been listening to Pink Floyd a lot lately, and as you may already know, I am completely obsessed with fringe, so this top was a must have. I also decided to add on to my shorts and put studs along the top of the left pocket (another thing I'm obsessed with). And as always, I'm piling on the jewels. Also, please ignore my messy room and the fact that I need to touch up my roots.

Hope you all are having a great weekend!
