I feel so very much like some sort of story tale princess in these photos, and I absolutely love it. Demi Rueda totally killed it with these photos. Something about how she captured the lighting, it's so very magical. One of my old corworkers, and friend, Delores, gave me this vintage Gunne Sax dress from the 70's. No one in her family wears in, and she knows of my appreciation for vintage. Ever so grateful to her. This dress is gorgeous. Not something I would usually pick out for myself, but after wearing it for the first time, I fell in love.

Let me apologize in advance for the shit ton of pictures. I was stoked on a lot of these shots and am absolutely in LOVE with this dress by Mink Pink! I'd had my eye on it for quite awhile, and when I saw that it went on sale on NastyGal, I jumped on it. It is seriously perfect. The lace, the bell sleeves. Ugh. My friend Megan Lane shot these, it was quite the adventure. We had cows mean mugging us, and we were sweating like crazy by the time we were done. Damn you Fresno and your hellish summers!

I am absolutely IN LOVE with this gorgeous vintage dress from the 70's that Some Velvet Vintage sent me. It is absolute perfection! Fringe and velvet, what could be better?! Seriously, you guys need to check them out, they have some of the most amazeball vintage pieces ever. I'm also absolutely in love with these sunglasses. My friend totally forgot them in my car awhile back, and I've pretty much been living in them since. I really should get them back to him, haha.

I have been DYING for a kimono, but every one I've seen has been way out of my current budget. Then I found this tie dye scarf in Urban Outfitter's sale section. I couldn't resist the kimono like feel. So of course.. I decide to wear it as a kimono as such to satisfy my craving for one, and I'm extremely happy with how it works! Especially over this crochet dress I also found the same day. Match made in heaven right there. I think this must be my favorite summer outfit as of now. Plus the gorgeous abalone necklace my grandparents bought me while they were on a trip to Monterey! IN LOVE.

Also, I must say that I absolutely love how bright the red in my hair is now that the color has faded out a bit. Exactly how I wanted it to look from the start! <3

I ALWAYS take advantage of the weekends and wear as much color as possible since Paul Mitchell limits us to black only. This weekend is no exception. Found this dress at Forever 21.. I love leopard print, and the minty green color was perfect for spring. I also love the cutout on the back. I'd also been looking for a nice denim jacket, and found this one at Goodwill for only $2! My mom has become pretty impressed with my thrifting skills as of late.

Little Red Dress

So before heading down to San Diego to spend some quality time with my man, I stopped in Los Angeles to help out my friends in Young And Ukraine Vintage with their online store, and model some of their newer items. This 1970's Joy Stevens maxi dress was my absolute favorite. The open back of this dress is absolutely gorgeous, especially with how it ties. I don't wear red very often, but I couldn't help but love the color on this dress. Not to mention how perfectly it hugs the body and shows off your curves.
